GENRE: SUPERNATURAL FOLKLORE HORROR
Inspired by one of North Texas’ most enduring local legends, Goat Man follows a young woman drawn into a decades-old mystery tied to a haunting regional myth and the secrets buried within her own family history.

​The film is currently moving through early pre-production with locations secured across North Texas as the creative team continues to assemble.

At Mount Helicon Productions, story and structure carry equal weight. Every project is developed with a clear understanding of audience, scope, and tone before production begins.

Our work focuses primarily on genre storytelling, including horror, science fiction, fantasy, and speculative narratives. These genres allow us to explore real human conflicts through mythic and imaginative frameworks.

​Rather than treating each film as a one-off project, we are building a slate designed to grow over time. Each story contributes to a larger creative vision while standing on its own.
FOUNDER-LED VISION
MATTHEW MCLINN
Mount Helicon Productions is led by its founder, Matthew McLinn. As an independent producer, he oversees development, packaging, and production planning for each project in the slate.

This founder-led structure keeps creative and practical decisions closely aligned. Stories are developed with both artistic intent and production realities in mind, allowing projects to move forward with clarity and discipline.
